Which browsers work with SOS?
SOS is made for current browsers such as Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox.
What your browser needs
SOS is a website, so it should run in a current version of any major browser. We have not published a list of tested versions.
Use an up-to-date browser. JavaScript must be on, because SOS does not run without it.
Your browser also needs to let SOS save data on your device. SOS keeps your sign-in there. Private windows and strict privacy settings can block this.
Features that depend on the browser
Adding SOS to your home screen is offered by Safari on iPhone and by Chrome and Edge. Other browsers may not offer it.
Features that use your location ask your browser for permission first.
During breathing exercises SOS asks the browser to keep the screen on. If your browser can't, the screen may dim and the exercise still works.
If something looks wrong
Update your browser and reload the page. The Fix a problem pages cover a blank page, an old version and a page that will not load.
