Can I try SOS without an account?
No: the tools need a free account, but SOS Mode, with its crisis lines, opens without one.
What opens without an account
You can read the sign-up page, the Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy and the Help Center.
SOS Mode opens without an account too. It has crisis lines, breathing and grounding exercises, and a safety plan that stays on your device.
The Get help now button works without an account as well. It opens crisis lines for your country.
What needs an account
Everything else. SOS has no guest mode.
Many tools save your entries to your account, so they are there on another device. Some tools keep entries only on the device you use.
What an account takes
You choose a public username that other members can see, give an email address and choose a password of at least 8 characters. You read and agree to a short set of terms first.
After that SOS asks a few setup questions about you. You can skip most of them.
What happens next
You can download your data and delete your account at any time from Settings.
