About Solution Oriented Society

Solution Oriented Society, or SOS, is a free website with tools for health, money, learning, community and goals.

What SOS is

SOS puts everyday tools in one place. You can keep track of sleep, food, movement and mood, plan a budget, take a course, find a local group, set a goal and build a habit. It works in your phone's browser, and you can add it to your home screen so it opens like an app. There is no iPhone or Android store app today.

SOS is free to use today. If that changes, we have said we will tell you first. The tools need a free account, and the app will ask you to sign in or create one. SOS Mode, with its crisis lines, opens without an account.

What it is for

Our mission is to give every person the tools, knowledge and community they need to build a good life, wherever they were born, whatever they earn and whatever they have access to.

Our tagline says the same thing in four words: Live well. Lift others.

The values behind it

SOS is guided by the Human Accord, a set of shared commitments, called tenets, that people of any background, faith or politics can hold. It is our values charter. After you sign in, you can read it and explore it inside the app.

Who runs SOS

SOS is run by SOS Media, LLC, a Colorado limited liability company. The service runs under the name Solution Oriented Society. Write to admin@sosforchange.org.

What SOS is not

SOS is an educational tool. It is not a doctor, therapist, financial adviser, lawyer or crisis service. Use it to learn and to keep track of your own life, and check anything important with a qualified person.

If you need help right now, the emergency and crisis lines at the bottom of every page are for you.

Contact

Write to admin@sosforchange.org. A person reads it. We can't promise a reply time. Do not put your password in an email, and do not use email to get help in an emergency.
