SOS has no ads and does not sell or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

Budget tools and money content are educational. Ask a licensed adviser about big decisions.
Not a crisis service
In an emergency call 911. In the US, call or text 988, or text HOME to 741741.
Who can read your data
The person who runs the server can technically read what is stored there. The Encrypted Vault is encrypted on your own device.
SOS does not use AI on your data
There is no AI coach in the app, and the app does not send anything you enter to an AI company. If that ever changes, we will say so first and ask you. Read the AI Disclosure.

Download and delete
Download much of your data and delete your account in Settings. Backups can keep a copy for up to 14 days.
Not for under 13
SOS is not designed for children under 13. You confirm you are 13 or older when you sign up, and SOS does not check. If you made a child profile in the Family area (new ones are switched off for now), the name, birthdate, avatar, saved settings and Kids Mode feelings check-ins are stored on SOS's servers, linked to your account. The saved settings are not applied anywhere in the app. The finance tools are for adults. Read section 12.

Privacy, legal and general help
One address handles data requests, legal notices, account problems and questions about the terms. A person reads it and replies. For a privacy request, put "Privacy request" in the subject.
SOS is run by SOS Media, LLC, a Colorado limited liability company, under the name Solution Oriented Society. We do not publish a postal address yet.
