Where do I log blood pressure, blood sugar and weight?
Blood Pressure, Blood Glucose and Body Metrics are in the Body & Physical group of Wellness.
This needs an account. Sign in to the app first.
Blood pressure
- Open Wellness, then Blood Pressure in the Body & Physical group.
- On the Log & Track tab, tap Log New Reading.
- Type the Systolic and Diastolic numbers. Pulse, Arm, Position, Time of Day, Context and Notes are optional.
- Tap Save Reading.
Blood sugar
- Open Wellness, then Blood Glucose in the Body & Physical group.
- On the Log & Monitor tab, tap Log Reading.
- Check the unit shown, mg/dL or mmol/L. Type the number and pick the Reading Type.
- Tap Save Reading.
Weight
The Log Body Metrics form follows your unit setting: kilograms, centimeters and degrees Celsius, or pounds, inches and degrees Fahrenheit. The other tabs show your numbers in your unit setting too.
- Open Wellness, then Body Metrics in the Body & Physical group.
- On the My Metrics tab, tap Log Today's Metrics.
- Fill in weight and any other numbers you want, then tap Save Entry.
Other places that take weight
Body Measurements in Fitness saves weight and body measurements to your account. The Quick Log row on Home has Log Weight.
On Home, saving the same weight again within 2 minutes counts as one weigh-in. A different weight, or the same weight after 2 minutes, is a separate entry.
The Weight Tracker in Fitness keeps its entries on this device only. They do not show on your other devices.
What the labels mean
The screens label readings with general ranges, such as the blood pressure categories. These are general information and not a diagnosis. The glucose screen shows a rough HbA1c estimate, which is not a lab result. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist about your own readings.
Watches and meters
SOS does not connect to blood pressure monitors, glucose meters or watches. You type each reading. Wearable sync is not available yet.
What happens next
Readings you save are in your account. Other members cannot see them.
