CBT Toolkit

CBT stands for cognitive behavioral therapy. The toolkit has seven tabs: Foundations, Distortions, Techniques, Seek Help, Thought Record, ABC Model and Behaviour Activation.

The last three are worksheets. You fill them in and save them. When you are signed in, they are saved to your account, and you can delete a record later.

DBT Skills

DBT stands for dialectical behavior therapy. The screen has five tabs: What is DBT?, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation, Interpersonal Skills and Mindfulness.

It is reading material. There is nothing to fill in or save.

What they are not

These tools teach skills. They are not therapy and they do not replace a therapist. The DBT screen itself says full DBT is usually done with a therapist and group skills training.

The Therapy Finder in the same group explains how to look for a therapist.
