What does the Log button do?

Getting started

The round Log button opens Quick Log, where you can save mood, energy, water, weight or steps.

This needs an account. Sign in to the app first.

Steps

  1. Tap the Log button at the bottom right of the screen.
  2. Set a value with the plus and minus buttons. Weight, water and steps can also be typed.
  3. Tap Log at the bottom to save every row you changed. Rows you did not change are not saved.
  4. To save only one row, tap the check mark on that row.
  5. Wait for Logged. If a row shows an X, that row did not save. Your numbers stay in the sheet, so tap Retry.

What each row does

Mood is saved as a mood entry, the same as Log Mood on Home, and Energy is saved as an energy entry. Neither counts as a daily check-in.

Water adds one drink each time you save, so enter one glass at a time. Weight is saved as a body measurement, and it updates the weight in your profile when it is your newest weigh-in. Steps are a daily total, so saving again updates today's number.

Water and weight use the units you chose in Settings.

If you are offline

Saving needs a connection. When you are offline the sheet says so and the Log button is off. Your numbers stay in the sheet.

More ways to log

The Quick Log row on Home has more choices, such as workouts, food, blood pressure and sleep.

On Home, Log Sleep asks before it replaces a night that already has bed and wake times. The same weight saved twice within 2 minutes counts as one weigh-in there.

The Log button is hidden on a few guided screens, so that it does not cover their own buttons.
