How do I report a problem or suggest something?

Getting started

Tap the Help button, choose Send a note instead, write your note and send it.

Steps

  1. Tap the Help button, then tap Send a note instead.
  2. Choose the kind of note: Something's broken, Idea, Question, Thanks or Something else.
  3. Write what happened or what you would like. A subject is optional.
  4. To help us find the problem, leave Include details about this screen ticked. You see what will be sent before you send it, and you can untick the box.
  5. Tap Send note. SOS shows a reference for your note.

If you are signed out

The note form is for signed-in members. Write to admin@sosforchange.org instead.

On the Help contact page, Copy copies the address and Copy details copies information about your device that helps us find the problem.

What to leave out

Do not write passwords or codes in a note.

Photos are not available yet, so you cannot attach a picture or a screenshot. Say what you see in your note instead.

A note is not the way to get help in an emergency. If you need to talk to someone now: Call or text 988 at any time to reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. You can also text HOME to 741741 to reach the Crisis Text Line. If you are in danger right now, call 911.

Drafts and crisis wording

SOS keeps an unsent note on your device for 7 days. It clears the note when you send it, discard it or sign out.

If what you write sounds like you may be in distress, SOS shows support options in the form. It never stops you from sending.

What happens next

We read every note. We can't promise a reply time. If we answer, the reply shows with your past reports. Open Settings, then Send Feedback.
