If someone may be in danger right now
Call 911 or your local emergency number. SOS cannot contact the person or send help.
Report the post
Tap the three-dot Post options button on the post and choose Report. Then choose Self-harm or suicide concern. The sheet shows crisis lines on your screen.
A report that names self-harm or a suicide concern is flagged as urgent for a person to look at.
Reports are still reviewed by people, not in real time. Do not wait for a report if you think someone is in danger.
If you do not want to see more
You can hide the post for yourself or mute the person.
Hiding does not tell our team anything, so report first if you are worried.
Looking after yourself
