Is my money information saved to my account?
Some money tools save to your account, and others save only on this device.
This needs an account. Sign in to the app first.
Saved to your account
These tools save to your account, so you see your entries when you sign in on another device.
They are Budget & Cashflow, Bill Tracker, Financial Profile, Debt Payoff, Savings Goals, Subscriptions, FIRE Tracker and Investment Tracker.
Emergency Fund saves your log entries to your account, but not your monthly expenses or target.
Saved only on this device
These tools keep entries only in this browser or app: Net Worth Tracker, Bill Calendar, Credit Score Tracker and Debt Snowball Planner.
So do Debt Elimination, Debt Management, Expense Splitter, True Expenses, Side Hustle and Insurance.
Your Avalanche or Snowball choice in Debt Payoff, and your monthly expenses and target in Emergency Fund, are also kept only on this device.
What that means
Clearing your browser data, using a private window or switching to a new phone removes entries kept only on a device. SOS cannot get them back.
Settings, then Download My Data, does not include them. Calculators do not save anything.
What you can do
Use the account tool when there is one. For example, use Financial Profile instead of Net Worth Tracker, and Bill Tracker instead of Bill Calendar.
These lists cover the main tools, not every guide in Wealth. Some planners, such as Savings Rate Tracker, Cash Flow Planner and Tax Organizer, keep their settings, checklists and notes on this device. Many guides do the same. When in doubt, keep your own copy of anything important.
