How do I add an event to the calendar?

Goals, calendar and Home

On Home tap the calendar icon, tap the round plus button, type a title, set the time and tap Save.

This needs an account. Sign in to the app first.

Steps

  1. On Home, tap the calendar icon at the top right. This opens Calendar.
  2. Tap the round plus button at the bottom right. In Week or Day view you can also tap an open hour, and in Month view you can press and hold a day.
  3. If you like, type something like Dentist Friday 3pm for 1 hour under Smart Input and tap Apply. It fills in the boxes below, and you can check them.
  4. Type an Event title. SOS asks for one if it is empty.
  5. Choose a category and set the Start and End dates. If the event has a time, pick the Start and End times. If it has no time, turn on All day.
  6. Add a location, a reminder choice or notes if you want.
  7. Tap Save.

Reminders

The Reminder choices are None, At time, and several times before the event. SOS saves your choice with the event, but it does not send event reminders yet.

At time is saved the same way as None, so an event set to At time shows None when you open it again.

Settings, then Notifications, says that most reminders are not sent yet.

Where events are saved

Events you add are saved to your account and show under My Events. The Family Calendar in the Family area is separate and is saved on this device only.

Change or delete an event

Tap an event to see its details. The card has Edit and Delete buttons for every event saved in your calendar. That includes blocks made with Time Blocking and events brought in from an .ics file.

SOS asks before it deletes, and a deleted event cannot be brought back. For an event that repeats, Edit and Delete change every day it repeats.

If you see Save failed, check your connection and try again.

Meals, workouts, bills and goal dates

Some items on the calendar come from other tools. Examples are meals, workouts, appointments, bills and goal dates.

Their cards have an Open button that takes you to that tool, and no Edit or Delete button. Change or remove them there.

Your active goals with a target date, and goal milestones that are not done, show on their day. Savings goal dates show too.

To hide them, tap the layers button at the top of Calendar and turn off Goals & Deadlines.
