What is time blocking?

Goals, calendar and Home

Time Blocking finds free time today for your habits and goals, and adds nothing until you say so.

This needs an account. Sign in to the app first.

Steps

  1. Open Calendar and tap the lightning button next to the round plus button. The screen is called Time Blocking.
  2. Read the suggestions. Each shows a time, how long it takes, and whether it is a Habit or a Goal Work Session.
  3. Tap Schedule to add one to your calendar, or tap the X to skip it.
  4. To accept every suggestion at once, tap Schedule All.

How it picks times

It looks at today's events and finds gaps of at least 15 minutes between 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM.

Your habits that are not done yet get a usual length for their category. Each active goal gets a 30 minute work session, if there is room.

When you tap Schedule

Each suggestion you accept becomes an event in your calendar. Its card has Edit and Delete buttons, like any event you added, so you can change it or remove it later.

What it does not do

It plans today only, and it does not move or change your events.

A skipped suggestion is not saved. If you open the screen again, it can come back.
