I forgot my password
Tap Forgot Password? on the sign-in screen, then open the link we email you.
Steps
- On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot Password?
- Type the email you signed up with and tap Send reset link.
- Look in your inbox for an email from Solution Oriented Society. The subject is "Reset your Solution Oriented Society password". Check spam or junk too.
- Open the link within 30 minutes. It works once.
- Type your new password two times and tap Set new password. Use at least 8 characters.
- Tap Sign in and use your new password.
If nothing arrives
The screen says a link is on its way if the address has an account. It never says whether the address has one.
You can ask again 2 minutes after the last request. The button counts down for you.
If the screen says email from SOS isn't working right now, wait and try again later, or write to admin@sosforchange.org.
Good to know
Setting a new password signs out every device that was signed in to your account.
You may get a short email that says your password was changed. It is a safety notice, so you would know if it was not you.
Another way back in
If sign-in codes are available, the Forgot Password screen also shows Other ways back in, with Email one-time code.
It emails an 8-digit code instead of a link. The article about signing in with a code has the steps and the limits.
What happens next
As soon as you set a new password you can sign in with it.
