How do I change my email address?
Open Settings, then Security, then Change email address, and open the link we send to the new address.
This needs an account. Sign in to the app first.
Steps
- Open Settings and tap Security.
- Under Email address, tap Change email address.
- Type the new email address and tap Send confirmation link.
- Open your new inbox. The email is from Solution Oriented Society. The subject is "Confirm your new email address for Solution Oriented Society".
- Open the link, type your current password and tap Confirm new email address.
- Sign in again with the new email address.
Before you start
Your current email address must be verified, and your account must be more than 24 hours old.
You can ask for a change 3 times in 24 hours.
Nothing changes until you open the link and type your password. The link goes to the new address, not the old one.
The link stops working after a while, so use it soon.
After the change
Every older sign-in stops working, so you sign in again.
We send a short notice to your old address. It says the address was changed and tells you to write to admin@sosforchange.org if that was not you.
What happens next
From then on, your new address is the one you sign in with and get account emails at.
