Where do I find a setting?
Open Settings and look in the section that matches what you want to change.
This needs an account. Sign in to the app first.
Steps
- On a wide screen, tap Settings at the bottom of the menu on the left.
- On a phone, tap the My Profile icon at the top of Home, then tap Settings in the Account section.
- Find the section you want in the list below.
What is in Settings
Help is first on the page. Get help opens Help, and Fix a problem opens the Help status page.
The other sections run in this order: Plan & Billing, Profile & Personalization, Notifications, Privacy & Data, Tools & Organization, Connected Devices, About, Legal and Account.
Staff also see a Platform Admin section. Sign Out and Delete Account are at the bottom.
Saved to your account
These follow you to another phone or browser. They are your profile, Icons & Personalization, My Schedule and Scheduling Rules.
The layout of Home, your nutrition targets and your Do Not Disturb times follow you too.
The people you blocked or muted and the notes you sent us are kept on your account.
Five of the choices in Notification Preferences go to your account. The notifications guide says which.
Saved only on this device
These stay on the phone or browser where you set them. They are Appearance, Manage Tools, your Usage Analytics choice and the Encrypted Vault.
Your list of wanted devices in Connected devices stays there too.
The Calendar Sync choices and the country for crisis numbers also stay on the device.
So does the Hide calorie and weight numbers switch. It is in Nutrition, not in Settings.
Units are kept on the device, but a choice made when you joined can replace them. The units guide explains.
On a new phone or browser, or after you clear your browser data, these start over.
Settings that are not finished
Some settings are on the screen but do not work yet. Each guide says so plainly.
They are Notification Preferences, Do Not Disturb, My Levels, Icons & Personalization and Scheduling Rules.
Connected devices, Calendar Sync and the payment options in Plans & Support are not finished either.
SOS is in English only, and light mode is not available yet.
