How do I track my bills?
Add each bill in Bill Tracker, then tap the circle when you pay it.
This needs an account. Sign in to the app first.
Steps
- Open the Wealth tab and tap Protection & Management. Tap Bill Tracker.
- On the Bills tab, tap Add Bill.
- Type the bill name and the amount. Choose a category and how often it is due. For monthly bills, type the due day of the month.
- Turn on Auto-pay enabled if your bank or the company takes the payment for you. SOS does not pay bills, so this switch is only a note.
- Tap Save.
- When you pay a bill, tap the circle beside it to mark it paid. Tap again to undo.
- Use the pencil to edit a bill and the trash can icon to delete it. Delete asks first and cannot be undone.
What the numbers show
The top of the screen shows Due This Month, Remaining and Overdue. A paid mark only counts for the current period, so a monthly bill shows as unpaid again in a new month.
Bill Tracker or Bill Calendar?
Bill Tracker saves your bills to your account. Bill Calendar is a separate tool that keeps its bills only on this device. The two do not share bills.
Good to know
Marking a bill paid does not add an expense to your budget. Add it in Budget & Cashflow if you want it counted.
Bills from Bill Tracker can also show on your Calendar.
Settings has a Bill Due Date Alerts switch under Notifications. Bill alerts are not sent yet, so look at Bill Tracker to see what is due.
