How do I earn XP and level up?
XP is a score SOS adds when you finish things like daily missions, goal check-ins and quests.
This needs an account. Sign in to the app first.
Where you see it
Home shows a gold strip that reads Level and XP. Tap it to open Achievements, which has its own level card, badges, streaks and an XP history.
What adds XP
Daily Missions: each mission shows its XP. When you tick one off, SOS saves it first and then adds the XP to the total on the Home strip. Each mission counts once a day. Tap a done mission again to mark it not done, and its XP is taken back. A short Undo note also shows after each tap.
Goals: the first check-in on a goal each day adds 25 XP. Milestones add XP too. The XP from goals goes to the level on the Achievements screen.
Finishing a goal adds more. The base is 200 XP for Easy, 600 for Medium, 1,800 for Hard and 5,000 for Epic. How you verify the goal can raise that. The last Templates step, XP & Finish, shows the amount.
Quests: finishing a quest adds the XP that the quest lists.
Levels
Level 2 starts at 500 XP, Level 3 at 1,500 and Level 4 at 3,500. Level 10 starts at 75,000.
Different screens count XP in different places, so the Home strip and the Achievements screen can show different totals.
What XP does
XP costs nothing and does not lock any tool. Levels and XP unlock only cosmetic items on the Avatar screen.
My Levels, under Settings, has numbers of its own. Read its article before you rely on them.
