I deleted something by accident

Goals, calendar and Home

Most deletes cannot be undone, so SOS asks first, but a tick or a check-in can be taken back.

This needs an account. Sign in to the app first.

What cannot be undone

A goal. Deleting it asks Delete Goal and says: This cannot be undone.

A habit. Deleting it asks Delete habit and also deletes every completion.

A streak on the Streaks screen. Deleting it removes the streak and all its check-ins.

A calendar event. SOS asks you to confirm, and it cannot be undone.

A child profile in the Family area. SOS says it cannot be undone and that all its data is removed.

What you can undo

A habit tick: press Undo on the note that shows for a few seconds, or tap the circle again. A check-in on the Streaks screen: press Undo, or tap Done to take it back.

A daily mission on Home: tap a done mission to mark it not done, and the XP it gave is taken back. An Undo note shows for a few seconds after each tap too.

On a goal page, a check-in, a milestone tick and Complete goal each show an Undo note for a few seconds. A done milestone can be unticked. A goal's XP is kept, so completing it again pays nothing.

The daily buttons for a practice, a challenge check-in, a comfort challenge and a Morning Miracle morning also show an Undo note. A done one can be taken back.

A water entry in the Food Diary: tap Undo last entry.

A block or mute, and posts you hid: open Settings, then Blocked and muted.

What to do now

  1. Add it again from the same screen. A goal, habit or event can be made again, but its old history cannot come back.
  2. If you downloaded your data before, that file still holds what was in it at the time.
  3. If it matters, use Ask us on this page. Say what you deleted and when. We can't promise to bring it back.

Next time

Read the box before you tap Delete. It names the item and says what else goes with it.
