My Mutual Aid request only shows on my device
That list stays on this device only; to reach other members, post on the Mutual Aid Platform.

Why it only shows on your device
On the Mutual Aid screen, the My private list tab is a private notebook. Its banner says: Only you can see this. It is not shared.
What you save there with Save to my list stays on this device. It is not posted, matched or sent to anyone, and it will not be on another phone or browser.
How to ask other members
- On the My private list tab, tap the link to the Mutual Aid Platform.
- Tap the Need tab, then tap Post a Request.
- Fill in the category and what you need. Add a way to reach you only if you want to.
- Read the notice: your request, area and contact are visible to every signed-in member. Then tap Post Request.
Before you share
Share only what you are comfortable with. SOS does not check who members are, and the safety article covers meeting people you find here.
