How do I add my own recipe?

Food, exercise and body

Open Nutrition Hub, then My Recipes, tap plus, fill in the form, and tap Save Recipe.

This needs an account. Sign in to the app first.

Steps

  1. Open Wellness, then Nutrition Hub, then My Recipes.
  2. Tap the plus button at the top. The New Recipe form opens.
  3. Type the Recipe Name and pick a Category. Add Prep and Cook minutes and Servings if you know them.
  4. Under Nutrition per Serving, type Calories, Protein, Carbs, Fat and Fiber for one serving.
  5. Add each ingredient with + Add ingredient, and each step with + Add step.
  6. Tap Save Recipe.
  7. To log it, tap Log to Today on the recipe, enter the Servings eaten, and tap Log it.

The nutrition numbers are yours

SOS does not add up the nutrition from your ingredients. It saves the numbers you type under Nutrition per Serving. A box you leave empty counts as zero.

A recipe with no calories is not logged, because it would add zero to your day. SOS asks you to add the nutrition first. Tap Add nutrition to open Edit.

You can work them out from the food labels, or use a food you find in the Food Database as a guide.

Allergy badge

A recipe shows a Matches your allergy badge when an ingredient name matches your allergy list. This reads names only and can miss hidden sources.

What happens next

A logged recipe appears in your food log as one entry, with the servings you chose.
