What are Scheduling Rules?

Settings

You can save scheduling rules, but nothing uses them yet.

This needs an account. Sign in to the app first.

What you can add

Open Settings, then Scheduling Rules, in the Profile & Personalization section. Tap Add Rule.

A rule can be Never During, Auto-Reschedule, Recovery Buffer or Prefer Window.

You pick an activity, such as Workout, Run, Meal or Habit, and then the details.

Under Preset Rules you can tap one of four ready-made rules to add it.

Manage your rules

Your rules are listed under My Rules. Use the switch to turn a rule on or off.

Tap the red bin to delete a rule. SOS asks you to confirm.

Rules are saved to your account.

What does not work yet

No part of SOS reads these rules today.

The Reschedule screen suggests new times from My Schedule and your calendar. It does not use your rules, even though its text mentions them.

The Scheduling Rules screen says higher-priority events bump lower ones. That does not happen yet.

If a rule does not save

If SOS cannot save a rule, a message says why. The Add Rule sheet stays open with your choices, so you can try again.

A switch or a delete that fails also shows a message, and the rule stays as it was.
