Which emails does SOS send me?
SOS sends only account emails, such as verify, reset and safety notices.
When you sign up
"Verify your email for Solution Oriented Society". Open the button to confirm your address.
"Welcome to Solution Oriented Society". SOS sends this once, the first time your address is verified.
When you reset or change your password
"Reset your Solution Oriented Society password". It has the reset link, which works for 30 minutes and only once.
"Your Solution Oriented Society password was changed". This safety notice follows a password change.
When you change your email address
"Confirm your new email address for Solution Oriented Society". It goes to the new address.
"Your email address was changed on Solution Oriented Society". It goes to the old address.
When you forget your email
"Your Solution Oriented Society sign-in details". It tells you which address is your sign-in email.
When someone signs in
"New sign-in to your Solution Oriented Society account". It goes out when your account is signed in from a browser or device SOS has not seen before.
Codes
"Your one-time sign-in code for Solution Oriented Society". SOS sends this when you tap Email me a sign-in code on the sign-in screen, or Email me a code on Forgot Password.
It holds an 8-digit code that works for 3 minutes and only once. Those choices show only when sign-in codes are available.
Two-step verification, which would ask for a code after your password, is not available yet.
What SOS does not send
SOS does not send newsletters, product updates or reminders by email today.
How to tell a real one
Real emails come from Solution Oriented Society and end with a line that says who to write to.
We never ask for your password by email. We never ask you to share a code.
Not sure about one? Do not open its links. Write to admin@sosforchange.org.
