How do SkillForge courses work? Are they free?
SkillForge Academy lists free courses that open on other websites.

How it works
SkillForge Academy has four tabs: Discover, My Learning, Categories and Track. The course list was chosen by hand. Search works on that list only. It does not search the whole internet.
Tap Open Course to go to the course on the provider's own website. Sign-up, rules and grading all happen there. SOS does not teach or run the courses.
Are they free?
The list holds courses that the provider offers for free, or as a free audit option. Each provider sets its own terms, and they can change. Check the course page before you start. SOS can't promise that a course stays free.
A Certificate tag means the provider offers one. SOS does not issue certificates for these courses. Check the provider's page for what a certificate costs.
Course cards show no ratings or enrollment numbers, because providers do not publish them in a form SOS can cite.
What SOS keeps
Tap the bookmark on a course to save it to My Learning. Saved courses, your status and your lesson notes stay only on this device.
For a saved course, opening it marks it In Progress, and Complete marks it done. These are your own marks, and SOS does not check with the provider.
To track your time, save a course, then tap Log Study Session in My Learning. Study sessions are saved to your account.
