SOS is an educational tool — not a doctor, therapist, financial advisor, or crisis service. You own your data. Use the app responsibly. Don't rely on it alone for medical, financial, or legal decisions. You must be at least 13 to use SOS (18 for financial features).
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Solution Oriented Society application ("SOS," "the App," or "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Solution Oriented Society ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account we believe is held by a person who does not meet these eligibility requirements.
To access most features, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep your account information updated.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@solutionorientedsociety.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
Each person may maintain only one account. You may not create an account on behalf of another person without their express consent.
By using SOS, you acknowledge that you understand and accept these limitations. You agree not to delay seeking professional advice based on content you have read in the app.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 (US) or your local emergency number immediately. If you are having thoughts of suicide or self-harm, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, US) or contact a local crisis service. SOS cannot monitor your wellbeing in real-time and cannot respond to emergencies.
The mental health, emotional wellness, addiction recovery, and related tools in SOS are designed for general educational support during non-crisis situations. They are not a substitute for crisis services, emergency care, or professional mental health treatment.
Some features and content within SOS are assisted or generated by artificial intelligence. By using these features, you acknowledge:

The SOS application, including its design, features, content, trademarks, logos, and underlying technology, is owned by Solution Oriented Society and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without express written permission.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the SOS app for your personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
If you submit feedback, ideas, or suggestions about the Service, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use and incorporate that feedback without obligation to you.
You retain full ownership of all personal data and content you enter into SOS (health logs, journal entries, financial data, custom recipes, etc.).
By entering content into SOS, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your personal data.
You can export or delete your data at any time from Settings → Privacy within the app.
SOS may contain links to third-party websites, resources, or services. We provide these links for convenience only. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or accuracy of any third-party site or service.
Your interactions with third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account. Upon deletion, your data will be removed within 30 days as described in our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, are misusing the Service, or if required by law. We may also discontinue the Service at any time.
Upon termination, your license to use the Service ends. Sections covering Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law survive termination.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Solution Oriented Society is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Before filing any legal claim, you agree to contact us at legal@solutionorientedsociety.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will try to resolve disputes within 30 days of notice.
If informal resolution fails, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration, not in a court of law, except as follows:
